This message I got so strongly from doing my laundry.
I took one coloured piece after another, and deep down in my heart, I was hoping that one would not bleach out and stain the others.
Thankfully because these materials are all well-made pieces, the quality spoke for each material; regardless of the multiple colours I washed in the same bowl and water, none stained the other. And after experiencing the joy that the risk taken did not result in mass damage but also telling myself not to try it again because it might not end up the same way, then PAPA said,
”DO NOT BUY OR PURCHASE WHAT WOULD STAIN OR DESTROY WHAT YOU ALREADY HAVE.”
And as I asked what to share today, this popped up. So here we have it. This reminder is for us all to cherish what God has given us and be grateful for it so we don’t end up with a mixed multitude and contaminate what we already have. Not everyone will have this story to tell that multiple colours didn’t fade into others. It’s not worth the risk, especially when we are talking destiny, assignment, purpose and not clothes.
I thank you, Holy Spirit.
ABBA, your word has come forth; we obtain mercy to refuse to let this world corrupt us. Keep us unstained. Guard our hearts against the corruption of this world, in Jesus’ name.
